QTac

Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 14 October 2026

These terms apply to your use of QTac (Quantity Takeoff), provided by Brainquisitive Merits, India ("we", "us"). By installing or using QTac you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not install or use it.

1. Who may use QTac

You must be at least 18 years old. If you use QTac for a company or firm, you confirm that you may accept these terms for it.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use QTac for your own work, including commercial work, while your access is active. You may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense or distribute QTac, share your account or access code, reverse engineer it (except where the law allows), or remove or bypass its licence checks. QTac and its name and logo remain our property; open-source components remain under their own licences (see About).

3. Account and one computer

You register with your name and a working email address. Keep your details accurate. One account entitles you to use QTac on one computer: each access code is issued for that computer. You may move your account to another computer by writing to bqi.support@brainquisitive.com; we do not charge for a move. You are responsible for anything done with your account or your access codes.

4. Trial, price and payment

5. Your responsibility for quantities

QTac is a measuring aid, not a substitute for professional judgement. Quantities depend on the drawings, the scale you set, what you pick, and the parameters and measurement conventions you choose. You must check all quantities before relying on them in any estimate, bid, contract, bill or payment. A qualified person should review every bill of quantities produced with QTac.

6. Your files

Drawings, projects and exports stay on your computer and remain yours. You are responsible for having the right to use the drawings you open, and for keeping your own backups.

7. No warranty

QTac is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not warrant that it is free of errors, that it will run without interruption, or that it will meet your requirements.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business, contracts, data or goodwill, arising from the use of or inability to use QTac. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for QTac in the three months before the claim, or Rs. 1,000 if you paid nothing.

9. Updates, suspension and termination

We may update QTac and these terms; the version shown in the current release applies from its date. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms. You may stop using QTac and ask us to delete your account at any time.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of our registered place of business have exclusive jurisdiction.
